Duskar runs on three currencies. Yen pays for almost everything you do, gold yen is the premium currency you earn in play and trade at the exchange, and star yen is the league’s own reward. This page shows where each one comes from, where it goes, and how players trade with each other.
Three currencies
| Currency | What it is for | Where it comes from | Trade |
|---|---|---|---|
| Yen (¥) | Training, healing, shops, flights, attacks, masters | Expeditions, the planet army, work, the market, planetoids | Yes |
| Gold yen (G¥) | Premium, the gold yen shop, market prices | Rewards, tournaments, the exchange, the market | Yes |
| Star yen (S¥) | The league merchant, max AP, planetoid attributes | The league, tutorial tasks, starter paths | No, bound to your account |
A new account starts with 50,000 yen and 300 star yen.
Earning yen
- Expeditions. Yen events, the orb training and speed test minigames, the wandering sage’s questions, and won team fights on expeditions; see expeditions.
- The planet army. It buys every warrior you do not need for its value.
- Work. Your company works while you are away.
- The market. Other players pay for your warriors, capsules, items and technique discs.
- Later on. Planetoid income, tournament prizes, saga rewards and Diamonds.
Gold yen
Gold yen is the premium currency, and in Duskar you earn it by playing: tutorial and starter path rewards, sagas, the chat quiz, the free daily chest and tournament prizes all pay it, other players pay it for your goods on the market, and the exchange turns yen into gold yen every day. What gold yen buys is open to every player.
Real money can only ever buy gold yen. Nothing else in Duskar has a real-money price, no advantage is kept for paying players, a longer life is never for sale, and premium always runs out.
The gold yen shop sells:
| Product | Price | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Fighter premium | 300 G¥ | 14 days, see below |
| Elite premium | 1,500 G¥ | 14 days, see below |
| Max AP | 40 to 15,000 G¥ a step | +5 max AP for good, 55 steps |
| Potion limit | 600 to 2,250 G¥ a step | One more potion a day, 6 steps |
| Healing Techniques | 1,350 G¥ | Healing for 20 ¥ per HP; needs the Regeneration Chamber |
| Enriching Capsule | 3,000 G¥ | Stronger AP, XP, max AP, synergy and HP capsules, for good |
| Scanner module | 150 G¥ | Shapes your next 3,000 expeditions |
| Gravity technology | 1,500 G¥ a step | Gravity rooms on your planetoids, 5 steps |
| Starter pack | 1,500 G¥ | Once, from your third game day: 14 days of Elite, 1,000,000 ¥, 10 Red Potions, 50 Invisible, 30 Green and 30 Pink Auras, 100 XP Capsules and 10 Max AP Capsules |
| Planet warrior | 1,000 G¥ | The planet’s own species at level 1, with an aura you pick from nine |
Each main planet has its own planet warrior: Mark on Zalnyr, Reliz on Navis, Maduka on Vevoria, Zorudo on Coth and Myrren on Manus. They are met on no expedition. The planet store also sells a few goods for gold yen, such as the Red Potion, the Weather Staff and the Visual Pack.
Star yen
Star yen is the league’s currency. It is an item bound to your account: it cannot be sold, bought or traded. It comes from the weekly league rewards, from tutorial tasks and from starter path tasks, and you spend it on planetoid attributes and at the league merchant:
| League merchant | Star yen |
|---|---|
| Shield II | 100 |
| Ilyari Metal II | 200 |
| Death-Tree Fruit II | 230 |
| Life Fruit Sack II | 250 |
| Xeryn Staff II | 300 |
| Space Capsule | 300 |
| Belt of Fortune II | 400 |
| Weighted Suit II | 450 |
| Wonder Water II | 650 |
| Navim Amulet II | 700 |
| Aureli Cloud II | 750 |
| Scroll of Oblivion | 3,000 |
| +5 max AP | 100 to 10,000 a step, 10 steps |
An upgrade you buy there starts at once if no upgrade of its family is running; the rest go to your inventory. See the league.
Shops
| Shop | Currency | Sells |
|---|---|---|
| Planet store | Yen, some gold yen | Potions, auras, upgrades, equipment, the Time Machine and gravity rooms; 5 bound Red Potions a day for yen |
| Gold yen shop | Gold yen | Premium, account upgrades, scanner modules, the starter pack, planet warriors |
| League merchant | Star yen | Tier II upgrades, a few tickets, max AP |
| Gym | Yen | Endurance training: +5 max AP per step |
| Healing | Yen | Your team’s health, free below account level 20 |
Equipment (ships, armor, maps, scanners, healing chambers) is bought one level at a time and installs at once. The planet store also lists the goods it does not sell, so you know they have to be found, won or bought from players. In Wind and Rain weather the planet store and the planet army close; the gold yen shop, the merchant and the gym stay open.
Selling warriors to the planet army
The planet army buys any warrior from your storage for its value, one by one or all at once. Each planet has a warrior of the day: selling that species pays 1.2 times its value, more with the Supplier achievement, up to twice the value. Warriors you mark as protected on their card are never sold. When you awaken a warrior with a full roster, the army buys it at once.
Sell warriors awakened with cheap auras to the army early on: it is one of the fastest sources of yen while your account is young, because newer accounts get a bonus on the value of the warriors they meet.
The market
From account level 15 you can trade warriors, items and technique discs with other players.
- Prices. An offer has a price in yen, in gold yen or both, and the buyer pays one of them. Items and discs are priced per piece and can be bought in part.
- Fees. Listing costs 1% of the price in each currency, kept even if you withdraw the offer. A sale costs 5% commission, taken from what you receive.
- Warriors. A warrior must be alive and in storage, not in a league line-up or a garrison. Its yen price must be above its value, and its gold yen price at least its value converted at the day’s exchange rate; the form suggests twice the value in yen. You can list 25 warriors at once, more with the Taxpayer achievement.
- Buying a warrior. Its level must not exceed your account level and you need room in your roster. It joins your reserve, keeps its training and value, loses the XP toward its next level and brings 20% of its synergy. Nobody can buy back a warrior they sold within 30 days.
- Items. Many items have a minimum price.
- Expiry. Every offer lasts 21 days, then the goods come back.
- Notes. An offer can carry a short note of up to 120 characters.
Some items are bound to your account and never reach the market: newcomer gifts, star yen and Diamonds among them.
The exchange
From account level 15 the exchange swaps gold yen and yen. All players share one pool of gold yen:
- Buying. You buy gold yen from the pool at the day’s rate, up to 1,500 gold yen a game day. Every 10 players you invited who reach account level 50 raise that limit by 200, up to 1,000 more. The yen you pay leave the game.
- Selling. You sell gold yen into the pool for 94% of the day’s rate, with no daily limit.
- The rate. It is set every night when the game day changes at 04:00 UTC: it rises when the pool shrank and falls when the pool grew.
When the rate is low, yen buy more gold yen. Watch the rate chart at the exchange before you trade.
Work
While your account works it earns yen every second, even when you are offline. You cannot go on expeditions, train at the gym, travel or change the team while working; friendly fights stay open.
| Pay | Cap per session | |
|---|---|---|
| Base | Grows with your account level | 2,000,000 ¥ |
| Titan of Work | ×1.1 to ×1.4 | ×1.1 to ×1.4 |
| Belt of Fortune I / II / III | ×3 / ×4 / ×5 | No change |
| Fighter / Elite premium | ×2 / ×3 | ×2 / ×3 |
A belt and premium do not stack: the higher multiplier counts. Your pay per hour grows with your account level, one session pays at most its cap, and your pay is fixed when the shift starts.
Premium
| Fighter | Elite | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | 300 G¥ for 14 days | 1,500 G¥ for 14 days |
| AP regeneration | - | +3% of max AP per hour |
| Work pay and cap | ×2 | ×3 |
| Awakening chance | ×1.2 | ×1.4 |
| Healing price | ×0.7 | ×0.5 |
| Potions a day | +1 | +3 |
Buying the tier you already have extends it by 14 days. Elite bought during Fighter runs first, and the rest of Fighter resumes after it. Every new account gets 7 days of Elite.
Diamonds and promo codes
A Diamond is bound to your account and opens one draw from its own table: 20-30 Golden Potions, an evolution item, a whole set of tier II or tier III upgrades, a large pack of capsules, one of six useful items, or 5 to 80 million yen. Diamonds come from expeditions.
Promo codes each give one item. A code has a limited number of uses for everyone and works once per account.
Art from the game

Fighter premium: 300 gold yen for 14 days of faster work, cheaper healing and an easier awakening.
Elite premium: 1,500 gold yen for 14 days; it also speeds up AP regeneration.
Star yen: the league's currency, bound to your account and spent at the league merchant.
A Diamond buys one draw from its own table, from Golden Potions to 80 million yen.
Belt of Fortune I: for a week, work pays three times as much.
Questions players ask
How do I earn money?
Go on expeditions: they pay yen in events and minigames, and won team fights pay too. Sell the warriors you do not need to the planet army, sell capsules and items to other players on the market, work while you are away, and collect your planetoids' income later on. Tournament prizes and sagas pay as well.
How do I sell a warrior to another player?
From account level 15, move the warrior to storage and list it on the market with a price in yen, in gold yen or both; the buyer pays one of them. The yen price must be above the warrior's value and the form suggests twice the value. Listing costs 1% of the price and a sale 5% commission.
Can I buy gold yen with yen?
Yes, at the exchange from account level 15. It sells gold yen from a pool shared by all players at a rate set every night, up to 1,500 gold yen a game day. You can also sell gold yen there for 94% of the day's rate.
How do I sell warriors to the planet army?
Put the warriors in storage and sell them to the army one by one or all at once; it pays each warrior's value. The planet's warrior of the day pays more. Warriors you protect from selling are skipped, and the army does not buy in Wind and Rain weather.
Where can I buy warriors?
From other players on the market, from account level 15, as long as the warrior's level does not exceed your account level and you have room in your roster. For 1,000 gold yen the gold yen shop also gives the planet's own species at level 1, with an aura you pick from nine.
Can I sell items to the game?
No. The game buys only warriors, through the planet army. Items, capsules and technique discs are sold to other players on the market.
How can I earn more at work?
Your hourly pay grows with your account level. The Titan of Work achievement adds up to 40% to the pay and the session cap, a Belt of Fortune multiplies the pay by 3, 4 or 5, and Fighter or Elite premium doubles or triples both the pay and the cap. A belt and premium do not stack: the better one counts.
Where can I buy potions and other items?
In the planet store, for yen and some for gold yen; it closes in Wind and Rain weather. The gold yen shop sells premium and account upgrades, the league merchant sells tier II upgrades for star yen, and everything else comes from expeditions, rewards and the market.
