Sagas tell the story of Duskar’s worlds mission by mission, from the landing of the Cold Fleet to the Treaty. Next to them run the tasks that give every day its goals: three daily jobs shared by all players, a free chest, weekly clan jobs and achievements that reward everything you do. This page explains how missions, jobs and their rewards work.
Five sagas
Sagas live in the Story part of the game. They retell the history of the world before the Treaty, and each page of the Chronicle of the Awakeners that belongs to a saga opens when you finish the missions it covers. The Cold Fleet opens with tutorial chapter 3; the other four open with chapter 5.
| Saga | When | What it tells |
|---|---|---|
| The Cold Fleet | About 250 years before the Treaty | The Xeryn fleet lands on the world of humans; underground, the archivists keep its old records through two hundred years of slavery |
| Retaliation | About 55 years before | The Xeryn look for allies among the Draveth of Manus, at war with the Vorag, and a new aura is built in the laboratories of Manus |
| Sky over Zalnyr | About 45 years before | The battle for Vevoria goes on, and the Aureli teacher Rei leads those who want to fight |
| The Secrets of Navis | About 25 years before | The Mekari find Navis, ruled by the Gorvath and worked by the Navim |
| The Price No One Counted | About 15 years before | The race armies end, the Awakeners appear, and the saga closes with the Treaty |
Finishing every mission of a saga puts that saga’s trophy in your trophy cabinet.
How missions work
- One at a time. You run one mission at a time across all sagas. Starting a saga takes its first unfinished mission, and its missions follow one another in order.
- Goals. A mission asks for things you do anyway, with a twist: awaken certain warriors, win fights, go on expeditions to certain places, find something there, train a warrior in a gravity room, hand over items, score in a minigame, conquer a planetoid or win a story fight. Some goals open only when the ones before them are done.
- Finds. When a goal asks you to find something, every expedition rolls for it, and the game tells you whether you are close or far.
- Time windows. Some goals must be done within a set time, such as an awakening count within one day. When the window passes, the goals of that window that are not done start over; finished ones stay finished.
- Travel. A few missions take you to another planet when they start.
- Failure. A few missions keep a running count that every expedition moves up or down. If it falls to zero, the mission fails without its reward and your whole team drops to 0 HP.
- Completion. A mission completes by itself the moment its goals are done, and its reward is paid at once. Only a few missions end with a finale that waits for your button.
- Giving up. You can abandon a mission at any time. Its progress is lost, and items you already handed over do not come back.
Story fights
Many missions end with a fight against story opponents.
- Cost. A story fight costs 20 AP, a few cost 10, paid only when the fight starts.
- Your side. The mission says who fights: a warrior you choose from your team, your whole team, or a warrior the saga bound to itself. It may demand a race, an aura, attacks of one type, a certain attack or enough synergy, and sometimes allies from the story fight beside you.
- The rules. Duels and relays count auras, the Versatile achievement, armor, synergy and upgrades, but no weather; brawls count only auras. Many story opponents grow with your account level.
- After the fight. Your warriors keep the HP they end with. Story fights give no XP, yen or synergy.
- Winning. Some fights ask for more than a win: lasting a number of rounds, ending with enough HP or using a certain attack at the right moment.
Mission rewards
Mission rewards are written on every mission: yen and gold yen, potions, capsules and auras, XP for your leader, days of Elite premium, more max AP, a random technique, a Diamond and more. A few change your account for good: one mission gives you a planetoid, one makes room for 50 more warriors, one makes paid training cheaper and the last one halves how fast synergy fades outside the team.
The Saga Hero achievement counts finished missions and pays Chest Keys at 5, 15, 30 and 45 missions and when every mission is done.
Daily jobs
Daily jobs open with tutorial chapter 1. Every game day brings three jobs, the same for every player in the world, and you do them alone.
- What they ask. Awaken warriors with a given aura, of a species, of a race, in a location, the planet’s warrior of the day, at a given level, up to a level, from a level or of a difficulty; meet warriors of a species or of an encounter frequency; find capsules; go on expeditions to a location; win team relays or team brawls; win duels and end them at full HP; beat opponents close to your account level.
- The day. Progress counts only during that game day, which changes at 04:00 UTC.
- The reward. Each job pays its reward the moment it is done; there is nothing to claim.
- Newcomer jobs. For your first seven game days of daily jobs you get a fixed board of three jobs for each weekday, the same for every newcomer.
Every job of the day has a different reward from one table: Green, Red or Golden Potions, 30 stat capsules, a tier II or tier III upgrade (star radars included), 1 to 3 Chest Keys, a Rescue Pod, a Teleporter, a Chronal Chamber Pass, a Gravity Detector, a Crystal Ball, Aura Chest IV or V, a Visual Pack, a Diamond, a Weather Staff, a Planetary Portal, a Staff of Recall, a Ring of Regression or an Elixir of Power.
The free daily chest
The free daily chest opens with the daily jobs. Every game day you open one chest for free, and every Chest Key opens one more.
- The streak. Days in a row with your free chest build a streak, and every seventh day in a row adds a Chest Key to that day’s chest. A missed day starts the streak again, and missed chests never pile up.
- What it holds. Mostly yen, then gold yen, potions, stat capsules, upgrades, Chest Keys and rare items such as aura chests, a Teleporter or a Diamond. The main prize is a warrior: Ulvan in the Blood or Mystic Aura, or Puvel in the Malice or Wave Aura. The chest lists every reward it can hold.
Chest Keys also come from daily jobs, from missions and from the Saga Hero and tournament achievements.
Clan jobs
Every week your clan gets three jobs of the same kinds as the daily jobs, with much bigger goals, and all members work on them together. Each finished job pays into the clan’s treasury. See clans.
Achievements
Achievements count what you do in the game, from awakenings and fights to capsules, expeditions, auras, planetoids and space. Each one has levels, and every new level brings a lasting bonus or a one-off reward. Every location has its own achievement with five levels, and each aura has one that makes awakening with it easier.
Versatile adds up the levels of all your other achievements except Globetrotter, Nourishment, Pioneer and Archivist. Every 10 levels raise every combat stat except Condition by 1% in fights, up to 30% at 300 levels. It counts in most fights; tournaments and story brawls count only the aura. Every achievement and its levels are in the achievements encyclopedia.
The trophy cabinet
Your profile has a trophy cabinet. You can put up to 50 trophies of your choice in it, warriors and achievements you are proud of, each with a caption. Next to them it keeps the trophies you earn, which stay for good:
| Trophy | How you earn it |
|---|---|
| Level 100 | A warrior reaches level 100 |
| Collection | 10, 25, 50, 100, 200 and 300 awakened species |
| Inborn | Every Inborn you awaken |
| World first | The first awakening from an Inborn group |
| Saga | Every saga you finish |
| Tournament | Every tournament you win |
| League season | A top 10 place in a league season |

Chronicle page II.4, Those Who Flee, from Retaliation: two hooded Mekari crackling with yellow energy burst out of a laboratory with a glowing core while a guard in a sea-green aura blocks the door.
Chronicle page II.7, Students of the Archives, from Sky over Zalnyr: Aureli ranks in white and silver before a rose city, where one of them shows a young human the right stance as their teacher watches.
Chronicle page II.13, The Lit Dark Side, from The Secrets of Navis: in the swamps at night a Mekari unit finds a hidden camp of the Navim, and a Navim steps between them with his hand raised.
Chronicle page II.22, The Treaty, from The Price No One Counted: at sunrise mixed companies of every race set out from the great hall toward the ships and the small worlds in the sky.
Questions players ask
How do I finish a mission?
You do not need to finish it by hand: a mission completes by itself as soon as every goal is done, and its rewards are paid at once. Only the few missions that end with a finale wait for you to start it. If a mission seems stuck, check its goals: some open only after the ones before them, story fights cost AP and need a fit warrior, and some goals must be done within a time window.
What are achievements, and what does Versatile do?
Achievements count what you do in the game, from awakenings and fights to capsules and expeditions, and each new level brings a lasting bonus or a reward. Versatile adds up the levels of all your other achievements except Globetrotter, Nourishment, Pioneer and Archivist, and every 10 levels raise every combat stat except Condition by 1% in fights, up to 30% at 300 levels. It counts in most fights, but not in tournaments and story brawls, where only the aura counts.
