Getting started

Read the guide

What should I do first?

Follow the tutorial. The steps of the current chapter wait on your board and can be done in any order. Every finished chapter pays its reward and opens the next part of the game, from daily jobs to flights to other planets and clans.

How do I play Duskar?

Go on expeditions, beat unawakened warriors and teach them auras until you have a team of five. Sell the warriors you do not need for yen, train and level up your team, and later trade on the market, fly to other planets, join a clan, take planetoids and climb the league.

Why can't I start an expedition?

Expeditions are blocked while your account is at work, in the gym or on a flight. Finish or stop the activity first. A trip also needs the full action point price of the location.

Combat

Read the guide

What do the numbers next to the races mean?

They are resistances: how much damage the warrior takes from attacks of that race. 1 is normal damage, 2 is double, 0.5 is half and 0 is none, so a higher number is worse. A warrior of two races multiplies both rows, and its aura can move some of the numbers up or down.

What can an attack do to my warrior?

Apart from damage, many attacks bring a status. The main ones are burn, firestorm, poison, bleed, paralysis, freeze, unconsciousness, confusion, trap and curse; a warrior holds only one of them at a time, and a new one replaces the old. Beside it a warrior can carry effects such as tether, block, counter, guard, regeneration, leech or ward, one of each kind.

How do team fights and roles work?

In a brawl both teams fight at once: the side with the faster warriors on average moves first, then the sides take turns. Each warrior can take one role, ranged, tank, killer, destroyer or supporter, which changes how often it attacks or is attacked at the cost of some stats. In a planetoid siege the defenders fight without roles, but with the planetoid's morale bonus.

What does synergy do in a fight?

High synergy noticeably strengthens six combat stats, and the higher it is, the bigger the boost. Low synergy does nothing in a fight. Synergy grows with won expedition fights and synergy capsules and drops with lost ones.

Expeditions

Read the guide

Where is it worth going?

It depends on what you need. Every location has its own mix of events: some are rich in capsules, some hide Diamonds, auras or upgrades, some have a rare warrior. The planet pages of this wiki list every location's events and how often each one happens, and the location achievements make your favourite places better the more you go there.

Why can't I meet a warrior that lives in a location?

Three things decide it. A species with a high minimum level shows up only once your account level comes close to it. Among the species that fit, rare ones (low encounter frequency) come up less often. And the location rolls other events too. A high-level scanner module raises the level floor to 60% of your account level.

Awakening and collection

Read the guide

How do I get a new warrior?

Go on expeditions until you meet an unawakened warrior, beat it in the duel and teach it an aura. If the awakening succeeds, the warrior joins you; if it fails, the aura is spent and you have to meet the species again. From account level 15 you can also buy warriors from other players on the market.

Can I change a warrior's aura later?

No. The aura you teach stays with the warrior for its whole life and shapes its stats in every fight. A hard-to-awaken warrior in a weak aura can still be worth keeping early on, but for a warrior you plan to keep, choose the aura with care.

How do I heal a warrior?

Heal your team in the game's healing screen. Below account level 20 it is free; after that every missing HP costs 100 yen, less with a Healing Chamber, a Regeneration Chamber or Healing Techniques, and Fighter or Elite premium lower the price further. HP Capsules heal one warrior or the whole team, and a Life Fruit Sack keeps the team's health up after every expedition fight.

Does a newly awakened warrior come with any training?

No. Its seven training prices start at 500 yen and nothing has been bought yet, so its first 400 purchases raise only the price of the stat you train. From the 401st purchase on, every purchase also adds 100 yen to the prices of the six other stats. A warrior bought on the market keeps the training and prices it had.

What decides a warrior's value?

When it is met, a warrior gets a value that depends on how rare its species is, its level and some luck: rare species are worth far more than common ones. Drizzle weather adds 60%, and newer accounts get a higher value. Every training purchase then adds 40% of its price; stats themselves do not count.

Can I reset a warrior's stats?

Yes, once per warrior, with a Time Machine from the planet store. It takes back every point bought in training, sets the training prices back to 500 yen and divides the warrior's value by three. Points from stat capsules stay.

Where can I train a warrior?

Buy stat points with yen on the warrior's card; every purchase also gives 2 XP. The gym gives XP to the whole team for every full hour, a gravity room trains one warrior faster, and the Chronal Chamber gives two warriors the XP for their next level. The Coach achievement and high synergy make paid training cheaper.

What is the highest level?

Level 100, for warriors and for your account. Every warrior that reaches it earns its own level-100 trophy, and your account gets 20 Golden Potions when it reaches level 100.

How do I judge a warrior?

Look at its aura against its races and attacks, its resistances, its growth and the forms it can evolve into, how its training is spread, its attacks and its level, and whether it has a master. Evolving too early can skip attacks that only an earlier form learns at higher levels; turn evolution off on its card to keep the form.

Where do evolution items come from?

Rare warriors leave their item after a knockout win, transformation stones can turn up on any expedition, a Diamond can give one, and players trade them on the market. Each warrior's page in the encyclopedia shows which item its evolution needs.

How do masters work?

Masters open at account level 50. You unlock a master by passing its six trials, then send it a warrior that has reached the master's minimum level, for a price in yen. From then on the master's growth is added to every level the warrior gains, and the warrior can learn the master's attacks. The choice is for life, so pick a master whose strengths match the warrior's attacks.

How do techniques work?

Techniques are attacks learned from a technique disc. Every species has its own list of techniques, and learning one uses up a disc of that technique on top of the usual lesson price. Discs come from expeditions, technique training on planetoids, sagas and the market. A warrior that later replaces a technique needs a new disc to learn it again, unless it keeps the technique among its remembered attacks.

Economy

Read the guide

How do I earn money?

Go on expeditions: they pay yen in events and minigames, and won team fights pay too. Sell the warriors you do not need to the planet army, sell capsules and items to other players on the market, work while you are away, and collect your planetoids' income later on. Tournament prizes and sagas pay as well.

How do I sell a warrior to another player?

From account level 15, move the warrior to storage and list it on the market with a price in yen, in gold yen or both; the buyer pays one of them. The yen price must be above the warrior's value and the form suggests twice the value. Listing costs 1% of the price and a sale 5% commission.

Can I buy gold yen with yen?

Yes, at the exchange from account level 15. It sells gold yen from a pool shared by all players at a rate set every night, up to 1,500 gold yen a game day. You can also sell gold yen there for 94% of the day's rate.

How do I sell warriors to the planet army?

Put the warriors in storage and sell them to the army one by one or all at once; it pays each warrior's value. The planet's warrior of the day pays more. Warriors you protect from selling are skipped, and the army does not buy in Wind and Rain weather.

Where can I buy warriors?

From other players on the market, from account level 15, as long as the warrior's level does not exceed your account level and you have room in your roster. For 1,000 gold yen the gold yen shop also gives the planet's own species at level 1, with an aura you pick from nine.

Can I sell items to the game?

No. The game buys only warriors, through the planet army. Items, capsules and technique discs are sold to other players on the market.

How can I earn more at work?

Your hourly pay grows with your account level. The Titan of Work achievement adds up to 40% to the pay and the session cap, a Belt of Fortune multiplies the pay by 3, 4 or 5, and Fighter or Elite premium doubles or triples both the pay and the cap. A belt and premium do not stack: the better one counts.

Where can I buy potions and other items?

In the planet store, for yen and some for gold yen; it closes in Wind and Rain weather. The gold yen shop sells premium and account upgrades, the league merchant sells tier II upgrades for star yen, and everything else comes from expeditions, rewards and the market.

Action points

Read the guide

How do I get my action points back?

They refill by themselves by 10% of your max AP every hour, so an empty bar is full again after 10 hours. Potions and AP capsules restore points at once, Elite premium, the Aureli Cloud and the Navim Amulet speed regeneration up, and the Windy weather adds 5% of max AP per hour while you stand on that planet.

How do I raise my max AP?

Through achievements (Veteran for account levels, Regular for days played, Nourishment for max AP capsules, Wanderer for new expedition grounds), endurance training at the gym, the max AP steps in the gold yen shop and at the league merchant, and four saga missions. A max AP capsule does not add a point by itself: it counts toward Nourishment.

League

Read the guide

What is the league?

The league is where players fight each other for points. It has three tracks with their own points and rankings: duels of one warrior, relays of five warriors where the winner stays in, and brawls of five against five. An attack costs 10 AP, you can attack each player once a day in each track, and points move from the loser to the winner. Every Monday active players earn star yen and Golden Potions by place, and every month the best of each track earn trophies and a place in the champions' tournament.

Clans

Read the guide

What is a clan?

A clan is a group of up to 20 players with its own chat, treasury, ranking and seat on a planetoid. From account level 15 you can apply to any clan from its page, or found your own for 1,000,000 yen and one of your own planetoids, which becomes the clan's seat. Clan mates share weekly clan jobs, can visit each other's planetoids safely and never attack each other's planetoids.

Sagas and tasks

Read the guide

How do I finish a mission?

You do not need to finish it by hand: a mission completes by itself as soon as every goal is done, and its rewards are paid at once. Only the few missions that end with a finale wait for you to start it. If a mission seems stuck, check its goals: some open only after the ones before them, story fights cost AP and need a fit warrior, and some goals must be done within a time window.

What are achievements, and what does Versatile do?

Achievements count what you do in the game, from awakenings and fights to capsules and expeditions, and each new level brings a lasting bonus or a reward. Versatile adds up the levels of all your other achievements except Globetrotter, Nourishment, Pioneer and Archivist, and every 10 levels raise every combat stat except Condition by 1% in fights, up to 30% at 300 levels. It counts in most fights, but not in tournaments and story brawls, where only the aura counts.

How do I fly to another planet?

Flights open in tutorial chapter 4, from account level 10. Pick a planet or any sector on the star map and start the flight. Every flight needs a starship and the map of the destination's quarter; for each one you lack you pay a fee of 50,000 yen below account level 50, 250,000 below 75 and 500,000 from 75. A Guide's Ticket pays the fees of one flight, and a Planetary Portal takes you to any main planet in 30 minutes.

How does the weather work?

Every planet has its own weather, the same for everyone there. It can change from hour to hour; day weathers come between 07:00 and 21:00 UTC and night weathers between 21:00 and 07:00. Weather is random, but it follows the game clock, not your local time. It changes expeditions, awakening and fights with unawakened warriors, never league or tournament fights.
