Tournaments are Duskar’s weekly cups: one warrior against one, decided by its stats, its aura and the attacks you give it. Three cups start every Monday, each with a prize pool that grows with every player who signs up, and the winner keeps a trophy for good. Once a month the best players of the league meet in a champions’ tournament of their own.

Three cups every week

Cup Warrior level Trainings Winner Runner-up
Open Cup Any Any 2,000,000 ¥ + the pool + 500 G¥ 1,000,000 ¥ + 250 G¥
Cup 45 45 at most 1,500 at most 1,000,000 ¥ + the pool + 300 G¥ 500,000 ¥ + 150 G¥
Cup 70 70 at most 1,500 at most 1,500,000 ¥ + the pool + 400 G¥ 750,000 ¥ + 200 G¥

Every cup is a duel tournament: you enter one warrior. Trainings are the paid training purchases made on that warrior. In Cup 45 and Cup 70 the points a warrior got from stat capsules do not count either, so a younger warrior with good growth has a fair chance.

All three cups of a week share one restriction: a race or a planet. A race restriction accepts a warrior that has that race as either of its races. A planet restriction accepts every species that lives in that planet’s expedition locations. The restriction changes every week; the game shows this week’s restriction and next week’s.

Signing up

Sign-up is open from Monday 04:00 to Wednesday 04:00 UTC.

  • One warrior per cup. You can enter each cup once, and the same warrior may enter all three.
  • Who can enter. A living warrior of yours in the team, the reserve or storage that fits the week’s restriction and the cup’s limits.
  • The fee. Your account level × 1,000 yen. It goes into the prize pool, and the winner takes the whole pool.
  • Your group. You join the group with the fewest players.
  • Your warrior stays committed. Until you are out of the tournament, the warrior cannot be listed on the market, sold, or sent to a gravity room or the Chronal Chamber.
  • Too few players. A cup with fewer than 8 entries is cancelled when sign-up closes, and every fee comes back with a report.

The tournament week

When (UTC) What happens
Monday 04:00 - Wednesday 04:00 Sign-up
Wednesday and Thursday, 10:00-20:00 Group fights, one every 15 minutes
Thursday 21:00 The groups close; the best two of each group go on
Friday 17:00, 18:00, 19:00, 20:00 Quarter-finals
Saturday 20:00 Semi-finals
Sunday 20:00 The final
Sunday 21:00 Prizes, trophy and reports

Every fight runs by itself at its time; you do not need to be online. Each stage closes at 21:00, and any fight still without a result is fought before the next stage starts.

Groups and the knockout

The players are spread over four groups. In a group everyone fights everyone once, and every win is worth 1 point. The two best of each group go on: more points first, then the lower account level, then the earlier sign-up.

The quarter-finals pair group winners with runners-up of other groups: the winner of group 1 meets the second of group 2, group 3 meets group 4, group 2 meets group 1 and group 4 meets group 3. The winners of the first two quarter-finals meet in one semi-final, the winners of the other two in the other, and the two semi-final winners play the final.

How tournament fights work

  • Only the aura counts. Achievements such as Versatile, battle armor, synergy, upgrades and weather play no part. What fights is the warrior itself: its stats, its aura and its five attacks.
  • Nothing is lost. Both warriors start at full HP, and the fight changes nothing on them. It costs no AP and gives no XP, no yen and no synergy, and it does not count for daily jobs, missions or fight achievements.
  • The warrior as it is at fight time. You can still change its attacks, train it or let it evolve during the tournament. Before every fight both sides are checked again: a warrior that was sold or has died, went over the cup’s level or training limit, or no longer fits the restriction after an evolution changed its race loses by walkover.
  • When both sides fail. In a group fight nobody scores. In the knockout the player with the better group result goes on.

The tournament rewards preparation more than power. Set the attacks and their order against the warriors you expect to meet; a warrior with the right attacks can beat a stronger one.

Prizes and trophies

The winner gets the cup’s yen prize, the whole pool of entry fees and the gold yen prize; the runner-up gets half of the yen and gold yen prize, without the pool. Semi-finalists get nothing. Both finalists get a report with their prize.

The winner also gets a trophy for good: the trophy of the week’s race, or the crest of the week’s planet, with the cup and the date. Tournament trophies stay in your trophy cabinet and do not count toward its limit of 50 chosen trophies.

Achievement Counts Rewards
Tournament Regular Every tournament you enter Chest Keys
Finalist Every final you reach Golden Potions, later Diamonds
Tournament Master Every tournament you win Chest Keys

The champions’ tournament

On the first Monday of every month the league closes its season, and each of its three tracks gets a champions’ tournament for its 8 players with the most month points. There is no sign-up and no fee: the top four of the month are spread over the four groups, so they meet only in the knockout.

The champions’ tournament follows the same week as the cups, from the group fights on Wednesday to the final on Sunday, in the format of its track: duels, relays of five or brawls of five. Every side fights with its league line-up for that track as it stands at fight time. The winner gets 1,000 gold yen, the Golden Crystal Orb and the champions’ trophy; the runner-up gets 500 gold yen. With fewer than 8 qualified players the tournament is cancelled. How to earn month points is on the league page, and how duels, relays and brawls are fought on the combat page.

Art from the game

  • A rope ring in a misty bamboo forest
The banner of Cup 45, the cup for warriors up to level 45.
  • A stone arena with violet fires above a sea of clouds at night
The banner of Cup 70, the cup for warriors up to level 70.
  • A bronze cup with a star
A cup trophy. The winner of a week restricted to a race gets the trophy of that race, and it stays in the cabinet for good.
  • A golden crest with a blue planet and laurels
A planet crest. Weeks restricted to a planet give a crest of that planet to the winner.
  • A golden cup with laurels
The trophy of the champions' tournament, played once a month by the best of each league track.
  • Golden Crystal Orb
The Golden Crystal Orb goes to every winner of a champions' tournament, together with 1,000 gold yen.
  • 455

The ten races of Duskar and the damage table between them: which races resist each other's attacks and which take double damage.

  • 5
